Individual Play Therapy: allowing children to use play to "talk" in a Playroom equipped with carefully chosen toys. Sandra is trained to provide an environment of acceptance, empathy and understanding during each session in the Playroom.
Session Length: 30 minutes for children aged 3-5, 45 minutes for children aged 6 and above.
Fees: £40 and £50 respectively.
Theraplay (for children and their parents/carers): Theraplay is an intervention to enhance relationships between parents and children, thereby allowing parents to have more fun with their children. Starting with 1 to 2 sessions covering the Theraplay Assessment (MIM).
Session Length: Depending on the size of the family group; from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Fees: £40 - £60 depending on length of the session.
Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT): a model of Filial Therapy, this is a play-based parent session for parents of children aged 3-10, to give parents the skills to be agents of positive change in their children's lives, and to strengthen the relationships within the family.
Session Length: A 10 week course for a group of 6 - 8 parents, each session lasting 1 - 2 hours.
Fees: £20 for each session; £200 for the course.
